About Redwood Loop Board Game Group
We are a group of people that like to play board games. We play regularly in person and online. We are currently playing at the Felton Library twice a month and online every week using discord on (mostly) Board Game Arena.
We play a wide range of games of various degrees of complexity and length; from No Thanks! to Food Chain Magnate. While some members really like the heavier types of games, the games played depend on who shows up. This makes the most common games light to medium weight.
The library has a small selection of board games that can be played. People that show up will also regularly bring new games that they are interested in playing or learning. Online, we get together on discord and choose some games to play while we voice chat. Our normal platform for games is Board Game Arena.
Most of us are local to the Santa Cruz, California area, though friends and ex-Santa Cruzians are part of our discord.
New people are welcomed to join. Just show up at the library or hop on our Discord and say hi. Most of our coordination happens via discord. We also have a meetup and facebook page, but they just redirect to discord.
